-
Have a clear idea of what you would like to have done so you can express that to me.
- Research dreadlocks online so you can have the best idea of what to expect.
- Send me pictures of your hair before the appointment to help my estimate. If you're wary, you can cut or blur the face out. I just need to see the hair.
- Have clean, dry hair that has been washed within the past 24 hours ready.
-
Set aside a whole day so that neither of us feel rushed or stressed.
-
Bring/Have your DVDs/Music/laptop. Sitting in a chair for a while doesn't need to be boring too.
-
Bring/Have some food for yourself.
-
Bring all your dread questions -- I'll be happy to answer anything.
-
Last but not least, and I know it's cliché. Please bring a positive and open mind.

Expect my estimate to be the golden rule. Sometimes appointments run late due to unforeseen circumstances. I try to let everyone involved know if it will be a little later.
- Wash with conditioner the week before your appointment (applies to dreadlock creation)
