Dreadlock Creation

• Consultation/Photo required

• A combination method of backcombing, rip and twist, and crochet method is used
• No wax, gel, or goop is used on your hair!
  
• Usually takes 8+ hours depending on length of hair, thickness of hair, if the ends are sewn in etc
• Hair MUST be more than 3 inches long (preferably longer)
  

Dreadlock Maintenance 

•  Available for Dreads past the age of two months
• Consultation/Photo required
• By appointment
• Crocheting loose hairs into dreadlocks, separating dreadlocks that have grown together, root-rubbing and tightening, palm rolling, tip blunting.
  

What should I do for my Appointment?

Professional matters

Unfortunately, I can only offer creation/maintenance on Caucasian hair. African-American hair locks differently and is more benefited from twisting techniques, rather than the backcombing and crocheting that I offer. Since I am not familiar with these techniques, it is not professional for me to pretend that I know what I'm doing. 

I do not offer twists, dread perms, or any dreadlock service that involves wax or gel. Dreadlocks done in such a fashion often fail to develop or snap off all together.

Minors

I can only offer dreadlock creation services to minors who have a signed parent/guardian consent form. It is preferable to have a parent/guardian present during the appointment.
